Wisdom is a 7- year old boy who lives in the Aveme village of Ghana. He was born with a condition called spina bifida. There is a tennis ball-sized growth on his back and a build up of fluid in his spine and brain.
Wisdom lives in constant excruciating pain; he has never walked since birth and has never set foot in a classroom. He spends his days sitting in a wheelchair watching his siblings and friends leave for school in the morning and return in the afternoon. Like all children his age, Wisdom would like to go to school and become a policeman someday.
Kidz For Good is supporting the effort to raise funds to help Wisdom. The funds raised will cover his medical procedures, physical therapy, transportation, room and board during hospital visits, follow ups, educational materials, and toys.
Our goal is to raise $2,000 for Wisdom.
